This is so incredibly disheartening. How will our youth learn how to sustainable use our natural resources and take care of our water, soils, wildlife, air, plants... everything that we rely on?? Every state has EE programs struggling to fill these gaps left out of school education, but at every turn we are being fought. Local, state, and national parks are being closed because there are no funds. Science is being cut from schools because it isn't tested. Our population is unhealthy because our butts won't get outside. It is such an uphill battle, I hope it isn't too late when everyone comes around to the importance of environmental education.

Helen Fisher

Our children's future will be taken over by corporate greed, with no regard for preserving - only profiting! Money rules...Should that be our priority over our children's health and appreciation for nature - and the environment that nurtures us?

Ann Weaver

"It is our task in our time and in our generation to hand down undiminished to those who come after us, as it was handed down to us by those who went before, that natural wealth and beauty which is ours." John F. Kennedy

Sadly money and greed now run America. Money and greed care nothing about what we are leaving for future generations.

M Taggart

If this were a democracy, we would vote how our tax dollars are spent.

My vote: take a piece from the war budget, and let our children make peace. Peace with mother earth and all her living beings.
